I spent 10 years as a music tour manager, living out of bags and cases while crisscrossing North America, Europe, the UK, and Japan. When you're on the road 250+ days a year, you learn fast what gear holds up and what falls apart.

I've seen power banks die mid-flight, luggage wheels snap in Tokyo airports, and "durable" backpacks tear after one festival season. I've also found the products that just work—tour after tour, country after country.

That experience is why I started TravelGiftList: to recommend travel gear and gifts judged by what matters on the road, from someone who has spent years living out of a bag.
